What does BRE Software buy and sell? New and Used Video Games, Video Game systems and accessories and DVD movies. How many retail stores does BRE Software have? BRE Software has one retail store at Blackstone and Nees, in Fresno, California.  For more purchasing options, please see BREGames.com.  To sell video games and DVD movies, see SellVideoGames.com and CashForDVDMovies.com. Does BRE Software do pre-orders or special-orders? No.  However, we do hold contests where both retail and web customers can enter to win games that may have not yet been released.  For more information about our contests, please visit our retail store, or visit our contest website. Does BRE Software buy or sell computer games, software or hardware? No.  The retail store no longer deals in computer merchandise.  However, our online store, BREGames.com, occasionally places computer merchandise up for bidding on eBay. What do NEW, USED and DISC/CART ONLY mean? USED games include the original display boxes, complete original instructions, and are shrinkwrapped We also have a category of used video games called DISC ONLY or CART ONLY games. The Disc/Cart Only games are a lower priced alternative to our regular line of used videogames. The Disc/Cart Only games do not include original boxes or instructions. The Disc games are packaged in Jewel Cases (PlayStation, PlayStation 2, Xbox, GameCube, and Dreamcast games) and Cart Only games (Nintendo 64, Super Nintendo and other cartridge based formats) do not include any packaging. We also carry brand NEW, factory sealed games for the newer game systems. The Condition Column for each item clearly indicates if the item is a "New", "Used" or "Disc/Cart Only" item. Can I buy or sell Import games at BRE Software? No.  We only buy and sell United States/North American games, videogame hardware and accessories, and DVD movies.  We do not buy/sell Pal games or hardware. How long is store credit/BRE Bucks Card good for? There is no expiration date on store credit.  If your printed Credit Slip or BRE Bucks Card is lost or stolen though, replacements are not issued. In order to use store credit, the original credit slip or BRE Bucks Card is required.  Buyback slips are not credit slips, and will not be accepted.  All credit slips issued at previous BRE Software locations may be used at the Fresno location. Are there any specific requirements that I need to meet when selling items to BRE Software? When selling multiple copies or new/unopened copies of any title/game/DVD, we require a copy of the original receipt or invoice. When selling Video Games and non-serialized accessories, there are no specific requirements. When selling DVDs, you must be 18 years or older and have a valid picture California Driver's License or picture California Identification Card issued by the DMV. No Military I.D., Out of state driver's license or any other form of picture I.D. will be accepted. When selling Serialized Items (ie. video game systems and XBOX controllers) STATE LAW requires the following when selling back items with serial numbers: The individual must be 18 years and older. Parents will have to sell serialized items for minors. The individual must have a valid picture California Driver's License or picture California Identification Card issued by the DMV. No Military I.D., Out of state driver's license or any other form of picture I.D. will be accepted. The individual will be required to be finger printed for the Fresno Police Department's records. The individual will be required to sign a document stating they are the owner or have the authority of the owner to sell said serialized item. A copy of the Pawnbroker/Secondhand Dealer Report form is not issued to the individual. All copies are designated for police or store records. All video game system will be tested in store. My system no longer works, does BRE Software do repairs? We do not provide a Video Game System Repair Service.  However, we do purchase defective systems from retail store customers.  Feel free to visit or contact the retail store, or refer to our Video Game System Buyback Prices for appropriate pricing. I have some scratched Video Games, Music CDs and DVD Movies, can you fix them? Yes, we offer a disc repair service to all of our retail store customers.  In addition to Video Game disc repair, we also have the ability to repair DVD Video (single-sided discs only), DVD Audio, Audio CD, SuperCD and CD-R/RW disc formats. Disc repair service prices are broken down as follows: 1 – 4 discs @ $4.75 per disc 5 or more @ $4.00 per disc Keep in mind that some discs may be in a condition that is beyond what our service can provide. If we are unable to remove deeper scratches from a disc we will wave the normal resurfacing fee.  We cannot guaranty that the removal of the scratches will restore function to a defective disc.  If a customer decides to continue with the resurfacing procedure after being notified by a BRE Software representative that a disc may be beyond help, the full resurfacing fee will be charged. We will not replace or reimburse for any disc that continues to be defective after the resurfacing procedure. Can I contact BRE Software’s retail store by phone about my Online Order from BRE Games.com? No, Retail Store employees do not have access to online orders. If you do have any questions regarding Online Orders, please send E-Mail to or use the Contact Form provided at the BREGames.com Website.  In emails, please be sure to include any useful information, (Name, order number, eBay auction number…) so that your inquiry can be responded to accurately and promptly.  If you are unable or unwilling to communicate exclusively by E-Mail or the Contact Form, please do not bid or place an order online. If I place an Online Order through BREGames.com or win an item through eBay, can I pick it up at the retail store? No.  Our online business is managed from a separate location; all items purchased or won online must be shipped to the customer.
