**NOTE:** Pursuant to Fresno Municipal Code Section 6-609, we are unable to buy or sell used Video Game Systems and other serialized merchandise on Sundays and National Holidays. For more information, please contact the Pawn Unit of the Fresno Police Department.

Are there any specific requirements that I need to meet when selling video game systems to BRE Software?

When selling serialized items (i.e. video game systems and Xbox Controllers,) STATE LAW requres the following:

The individual must be 18 years of age or older. Parent or legal guardians will have to sell serialized items for minors.
The individual must have a valid picture California Drvier's License or picture California Identification Card issed by the DMV. No Military ID, out of state drivers license or any other form of picture ID will be accepted.
The individual will be required to be finger printed for the Fresno Police Department's records.
The individual will be required to sign a document stating they are the owner or have the authority of the owner to sell said serialized item.
A copy of the Pawnbroker/Secondhand Dealer Report form is not issued to the individual. All copies are designated for police or store records.
All video game systems will be tested in store.

My system no longer works, does BRE Software do repairs?

We do not provide a video game system repair service. However, we do purchase defective systems from retail store customers. Please use the "System Buyback Prices" link to look up the appropriate pricing information.

How much does BRE Software pay for video game systems?

Systems are priced by type, and in some cases, by model # and/or manufacturing year. To recieve the full price for your system, the system must include all the original hardware that it was sold with. This includes, but it not limited to:

The system itself
Original cables (Power & AV/RF)
Original controller
