Namco Museum 50th Anniversary Collection Goes Gold Print E-mail

As if you needed another reason to live in the past, Namco has sent word that the newest game in their old-school collection series has gone gold and is set to meet its release date on the 30th of this month. The collection includes of their golden oldies. The list of games included, by way of gamespot, is: Pac-Man, Ms. Pac-Man, Galaga, Galaxian, Dig Dug, Pole Position, Pole Position II, Rolling Thunder, Rally X, Bosconian, Dragon Spirit, Sky Kid, Xevious, and Mappy.



Two Versions of Resident Evil 4 Coming to PS2 Print E-mail

Resident Evil 4 will come in two flavors when it hits the PS2: regular and premium. The premium edition will contain, in addition to the original game, a laser cell art work of Ada Wong, one of the game’s featured characters, a making-of DVD, and a book that timelines the Resident Evil universe. The premium edition will sell for $49.99, and the regular edition of the game will be $39.99. Start filling your piggy banks kiddies, the game will be released on October 26th for the PS2.


Doom 3 Expansion Confirmed for Xbox Print E-mail

It was announced earlier this week that at QuakeCon, which takes place this weekend, will have an Xbox edition of Doom 3: Resurrection on display. That’s right, the expansion to Doom 3 originally released on PC earlier this year will be available for Xbox in the near future. Unlike its PC counterpart, the Xbox version will not require that you already own the original game. The expansion will have the requisites of an expansion: more levels, weapons, items, and enemies. No official release date has been set. We’ll be sure to keep you posted when we hear of one.
