The book that has sold almost 39 million copies worldwide and was on the New York Times Bestseller list for more than two years is now being made in to a video game. 2K games is publishing the title and The Collective (Marc Ecko’s Getting Up, Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith) is developing the game. It will also tie in to the movie (yeah, there’s going to be a movie too) due out this May.

Worldwide, that is. Nintendo President Satoru Iwata was quoted earlier this week as saying, in reference to the Revolution ""I can only say that it's coming out during 2006, but it will be after the current fiscal year. We hope to make it a simultaneous worldwide release as much as it's possible." There were rumors of a June 2006 release date earlier this week, but we don’t think Nintendo can launch that soon worldwide. So, while there’s no official release date for the system yet, we here at BRE think you should expect it under your Christmas Tree next year.
