Well, I have had my DS for quite a while now and I also have a PSP. Honestly, my DS is a better system than my PSP. I will list the Reasons:

1. Nintendo has always focused on being innovative and just making games fun, and the DS definatley runs parralell to that idea.

2. The 2 screens make for a much more enjoyable gaming experiance.

3. THIS THING IS ROCK SOLID. I'll admit, when I saw it for the first time I though that it was a peice of junk. I could drop this thing off my roof! My PSP would break in my pocket.

4.The battery life is amazing

5. Nintendo is constantly rolling out neew features and new ways to utilize the different innovative qualities of the DS. For example: on November 14th they are giving out FREE online gameplay for the DS

6. Its also nice how they have stero speakers.

This is our second DS. We purchased one last Christmas for our 7yo daughter. Our 5yo daughter loved to play it as well. This game system has been a good teaching tool for our kids. I would recommend this to parents who want their kids to excel in their education. Just make sure you purchase the right games...

I bought a Nintendo DS. It was shipped to me right away with no problems. The DS was just as the seller had discribed. I think that my 6 yeal old will love it.

I love everything about this game. It is small and compact and goes anywhere. My daughter got her first one for her 6th birthday and had no trouble figuring it out. It's great and has lots of games.

Nintendo DS - Handheld game system works great even if its the original.
Under a hundred dollars. bought the unit three weeks ago and was immediately impressed with the number of features available on this expensive toy. It has a 1M-pixel camera, video camera, and speakerphone. The size is perfect for carrying in a pocket and the battery has a pretty good lifespan of roughly 4 hours. Other games I've owned have simpler menus and get you to important features easily. Overall, I'd recommend the phone if you're on a budget.

The instant I received this item I was unhappy with it. All of the games are for kids 10 and under. The selection was poor, and the Pictochat feature didn't send properly. Unless you are interested in playing kiddie games like "Smart Girl's Magical Book Club", DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY OR TIME.
